
A Lion Aviation, parceira estratégica da companhia aérea moçambicana LAM (Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique), denunciou publicamente alegados casos de “sabotagem interna” no processo de aquisição de novos aviões para a frota da transportadora nacional.
Segundo declarações da empresa, há indícios de que funcionários ligados à LAM e a outras entidades nacionais estariam a dificultar deliberadamente o avanço do negócio, colocando em risco não apenas o contrato, mas também os planos de modernização e expansão da companhia.
Em entrevista recente, um porta-voz da Lion Aviation afirmou: “Estamos extremamente preocupados com as manobras internas que têm sido feitas para travar um processo vital para o futuro da LAM e para a aviação civil de Moçambique.”
A LAM, por sua vez, emitiu um comunicado negando qualquer envolvimento institucional em práticas de sabotagem e assegurando que está comprometida em renovar a sua frota para oferecer mais qualidade e segurança aos passageiros.
A renovação da frota da LAM é considerada fundamental para melhorar a pontualidade, reduzir custos operacionais e aumentar a competitividade frente a outras companhias da região. Especialistas apontam que, sem esses investimentos, a LAM poderá perder espaço no mercado nacional e internacional.
